As a proud member of the Bosch team, if there’s one thing I can say with certainty, it’s that inspiration can strike at anytime, anywhere. Walking the halls of our headquarters in Irvine, California, I am continuously inspired by daily conversations with our industrial design and product teams as we continue our quest to make life in the kitchen easier. But, the true embodiment of kitchen inspiration can be seen at our innovative Experience & Design Center locations across the country. Earlier this year, I shared my excitement about the grand opening of our Chicago Experience & Design Center – a stunning new space for the design community in the Midwest. Today, I’d like to give you a sneak peek into the Irvine Experience & Design Center in my own backyard.

For starters, the name “Experience & Design Center” couldn’t be more suited for this building. It was designed with one goal in mind – to provide retailers, designers, architects, builders, and homeowners with an in-depth, hands on experience with the Bosch brand. Upon stepping into the Irvine Experience & Design Center, guests are immediately ushered into the world of Bosch where they can truly get a taste for what a Bosch kitchen could look and feel like.
To serve this purpose, the Bosch design team built a series of stunning kitchen vignettes that showcase what a homeowner might experience as they live life in their dream Bosch kitchen. Not only do the kitchen vignettes offer design inspiration for anyone starting a kitchen remodel, but the opportunity to see, touch, and feel our appliances is memorable. Imagine being able to swing open the doors of a Bosch SideOpening Wall Oven and truly see the ergonomic benefits this installation option offers. This is just one of many ways the Irvine Experience & Design Center can help make it easier to envision Bosch in your home kitchen.
In addition to experiencing the Bosch look and feel, we also utilize the Irvine Experience & Design Center for training purposes. Every week, Bosch hosts retailers, designers, builders, and architects for immersive educational sessions on some of the latest kitchen trends, as well as the Bosch product portfolio. Plus, our doors are always open to customers shopping for appliances who want to learn more about Bosch, or our current Bosch product owners who may have a question about a specific feature on their cooktop, or simply want to better understand the technology behind their new Bosch refrigerator.
And lastly, the Irvine Experience & Design Center is a center for innovation and creativity at Bosch. Almost every day one of our product managers or industrial designers will pop across the street from our corporate headquarters in seek of inspiration. Being able to peruse the collection of Bosch kitchens and interact with the products can spark new ideas for Bosch. You never know when the next Bosch idea might strike, but the Irvine Experience & Design Center is the perfect setting for inspiration.
As you can see, the Irvine Experience & Design Center plays a special role in the Bosch brand. It allows us to communicate and connect with local community members, while also serving our Bosch consumers. I encourage any Southern California locals to set up some time to check out this unique space, and don’t forget to share insights on your experience below!
