Palm Springs, California has it all – relaxing resorts and spas, picturesque views of the lush, green fairways juxtaposed with Desert Mountains, and a never-ending showcase of mid-century, modern design.
And we were thrilled to get an inside look at the gorgeous Christopher Kennedy Compound – the official Show Home of this year’s Modernism Week, a 10 day event honoring the very best in modern design.
The Christopher Kennedy Compound brought together 12 leading design tastemakers to create one stunning Show Home that put a fresh and modern spin on classic, Palm Springs splendor. The kitchen, which was designed by Christopher Kennedy, features seamless aesthetics created by custom cabinetry and custom panel appliances, a multi-functional island, and dramatic windows to allow Palms Springs’ golden sunlight to illuminate the entire room.
Why is this kitchen one of our all-time favorites? The simplicity of the space created by a clean color palate and sleek lines turns this kitchen into a desert oasis where the homeowners can relax with a refreshment after a round of golf, or prepare a delicious and healthy meal for friends and family.
It was truly an honor to work with Christopher Kennedy to design this kitchen, or as he calls it “the heart of the home.” Watch this video for an inside look at this breathtaking kitchen featuring Bosch appliances.
